College Activities and Societies

I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2011 with a degree in English and a degree in Anthropology.  While attending NIU, I participated in several societies, including the Society for Technical Communication (STC-NIU), the First-Year Composition Committee (FYCC) and the Student Advisory Council on Learning Outcomes (SACLO). In June of 2010,  I participated in the Archaeological Field School in Sicily where I learned how to measure pits, dig layers, and record artifacts.
